American Board of Orthodontics
Dr. Trotter is a Diplomate with the American Board of Orthodontics. He became Board certified (a 7-10 year process) in February of 2005 acquiring a non-time-limited certificate.

University of Southern California School of Dentistry
Dr. Trotter is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Graduate Orthodontic Department in the USC School of Dentistry, Division of Craniofacial Sciences and Therapeutics.

California Association of Orthodontists
Dr. Trotter became the Secretary-Treasurer of the California Association of Orthodontists in 2006. He will become the President-Elect in 2007 and the President in 2008. The CAO represents the approximately 1600 orthodontists in California. The CAO is a constituent of the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists (PCSO), which is a component of the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO).
